The International Pallet Protection Committee (IPPC) is an organization that sets out guidelines for wooden shipping containers world wide. The IPPC’s International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM 15) are the guidelines for preventing the spread of insects and disease. It calls for wood that is more than 6mm in thickness be debarked and heat-treated to a temperature not less than 133 degrees (56 Celsius) for at least 30 minutes.

These guidelines are constantly changing and can often be confusing, but you can leave that to us. McVantage employees are always up to date on the changing regulations and have all the tools necessary to fulfill the requirements. We ensure that our pallets will be ready to deliver your products to global customers.

Finally, to give our customers ultimate quality assurance we are 3rd party monitored by Timber Products Inspection (TPI). They monitor our process and ensure we are giving you a product that meets all ISPM 15 standard requirements.
