Eddie Daniel, President

Eddie Daniel is the President of McVantage Packaging, bringing 26 years of industry experience to the company. He is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, driving financial performance, team building, lumber procurement, and ensuring workplace safety. His leadership helps guide McVantage Packaging’s strategic growth and operational excellence.

Before joining the industry, Eddie served as an Army Intelligence Officer for over 24 years in both active duty and the National Guard. He completed multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other operational areas, gaining invaluable leadership and problem-solving experience. Eddie is a graduate of the University of North Alabama and remains committed to fostering a strong, efficient, and safety-conscious team at McVantage Packaging.


Stuart Ferguson, CFO

Stuart Ferguson serves as the Chief Financial Officer for all McVantage companies, bringing extensive experience in corporate and international accounting and taxation. He holds a degree in Business Studies from Glasgow Caledonian University and is a qualified Accountant (CMIA).

As CFO, Stuart oversees all accounting and administrative functions, ensuring financial accuracy, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. His expertise plays a critical role in supporting McVantage’s growth and financial stability.


Dwayne Schaberl, Tuscumbia Operations Manager

Dwayne Schaberl is the Operations Manager at McVantage Packaging’s Tuscumbia, AL facility. Since joining McVantage in 2018 as a production scheduler, he has developed extensive knowledge of the wood packaging industry. In 2023, he was promoted to Operations Manager, overseeing the production of pallets, crates, and customized packaging solutions with a team of 100+ employees.

Dwayne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He started his career as a pallet builder and paper sorter, quickly advancing to a Quality Controller role. His leadership and commitment to operational excellence drive efficiency and continuous improvement at the Tuscumbia facility.


Michael Hair, Nashville Facility Director

Michael Hair is the Facility Director of McVantage Packaging’s Nashville, TN operations. He is responsible for overseeing customer service, hiring and training plant employees, production planning, product design, sales, transportation, and facility and equipment maintenance.

Before joining McVantage, Michael served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 24 years of distinguished service. His leadership and operational expertise ensure that the Nashville facility runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.


Wesley Glidewell, Human Resources

Wesley Glidewell joined McVantage Packaging in 2024 and oversees all Human Resources functions for the company.

Before joining McVantage, Wesley built a career in HR within the aerospace and defense government contracting sector, working closely with organizations such as NASA and the U.S. Air Force. He holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of North Alabama.


Ashleigh Ferguson, Customer Service

Ashleigh Ferguson is the Customer Representative at our Tuscumbia facility. She began her career with McVantage in 2014 at the Nashville plant before relocating to Tuscumbia the following year. Originally from Scotland, Ashleigh moved to the U.S. in 2007 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of North Alabama. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2019. In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys traveling and cheering on her favorite soccer team, the Glasgow Rangers.


Joe McKinney, Advisor

Joe McKinney was born and raised in “the Shoals” area of northwest Alabama. After graduating from Muscle Shoals High School in 1978 he continued his education at Auburn University earning a B. S. degree in Business Administration (Industrial Management) in August of 1982.

He then returned home to work in the family businesses, mostly in the wood industry he worked through many different areas of the companies. During his tenure he and the family have been involved with companies from sawmilling, pine remanufacturing, wood treating, wooden pallets, pneumatic fasteners, medical device renewal and others. In addition the McVantage companies have been involved internationally with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified forest and lumber production from that forest. The family has also been involved in green energy production, banking and safety management among other industries.

In addition to the business roles, Joe has also served as the chairman of the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA is the largest pallet industry association in the world). He has also served on the board of the Shoals Area Chamber of Commerce, Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club and is a current board member of the Northwest Regional Airport.

He currently serves as the Managing Director of the McVantage Group of companies which is a varied group of family controlled businesses.

Joe has been married to the former Eugenia (Genia) King (now McKinney) for over 39 years. The couple has two adult children both of whom also graduated from Auburn University. Colton K. McKinney graduated in 2015 with an Entrepreneurial Business degree and is currently the President of Pearson Safety Services, which is a family controlled safety management company. Sydney McKinney graduated in 2018 with a Chemical Engineering degree, then Vanderbilt Law School and is currently a Patent and Intellectual Property attorney.


Chester McKinney, Chairman of the Board

Chester is the Chairman of all McVantage companies.  In his role, he oversees the direction and strategies for the companies and the duties such as facility management and safety.  Chester also is involved in real estate and other business endeavors involving the McKinney family group of companies.  Chester has an Industrial management degree from Auburn University and a lifetime of experience in the wood related industries. In addition, Chester continues to serve on numerous Boards related to business, community, and educational institutions.


Hannah Schrock, Controller

Hannah Schrock is the Controller for the McVantage group of companies. She is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, payroll, and the preparation of financial statements across all McVantage companies.

Hannah graduated with honors from the University of North Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.


Kashonda Gravley, Accounts Receivable

Kashonda has been our Office Administrator in our Nashville Office since 2019. Her responsibilities are overseeing daily office operations to ensure efficiency as well, she is the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, managing correspondence, including emails and phone calls, organizing and maintaining files and records. - Preparing reports and presentations as needed. She also handles planning and optimizing routes for deliveries as well assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members, tracking the status of deliveries and addressing issues as they arise during operations.

Prior to her time with McVantage, Kashonda was self-employed for 7 years and worked for the State of Kentucky as a Referral and Resources Specialist for Military families for 3 years, all while being a full time mother to two boys.


Tony Truelove – Trucking / Maintenance Manager – Nashville

Tony Truelove was born and raised in Sulligent, AL. He earned an athletic scholarship to the University of West Alabama, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. After graduation, Tony was drafted by the USFL’s Birmingham Stallions, then played for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings and finished his playing career with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Tony spent over 20 years as the owner/operator of 501 Trucking LLC before joining McVantage Packaging in 2018. He has been married for 31 years and currently resides in Columbia, TN.


Deion Hacker – Trucking Manager


Deion Hacker is the Trucking Manager at McVantage Packaging, bringing over 40 years of experience in the trucking industry. He is responsible for training, service, and the acquisition of trucks, trailers, and drivers. Deion currently manages our fleet of over a dozen trucks and 300+ trailers, ensuring efficient transportation and smooth transportation operations across the company.


Rick Anderson - Director of Engineering & Development

Rick Anderson is the Director of Engineering and Development at McVantage Packaging and has a lifetime of experience in the sawmill and wood related industries. Rick is an industry leader in optimizing production equipment and streamlining operations for maximum efficiency and productivity.

Rick’s expertise in engineering and process improvement has been essential to McVantage’s focus on quality, sustainability, and cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. He is highly respected in the wood industry and has been sought after by many major machinery companies worldwide for his innovative ideas. Rick was instrumental in assisting through the development phases of producing the world’s first robotic pallet disassembly system.
