Recycled Wooden Products

McVantage supplies recycled wooden products to customers across North Alabama and within 200 miles of Nashville. We take used lumber and pallet components that would otherwise go to waste and turn them back into working products. That keeps material out of landfills and puts money back into your supply chain.

Recycled GMA Pallets (48x40)

The grocery and retail industries run on standard 48x40 pallets. These are called GMA pallets and GMA stands for Grocery Manufacturers Association. Our recycled version uses repurposed lumber that still has plenty of life left in it. We inspect each component and replace anything that has cracked or broken. What you get is a pallet that handles the same loads as a new one but costs less and carries a smaller environmental footprint.

These pallets stack efficiently on trailers and warehouse racks. They move through automated systems without trouble because the outside dimensions stay consistent. Many grocery distributors, food warehouses and retail DCs in North Alabama and the Nashville area use recycled GMA pallets every day.

Recycled Pallets in Other Sizes

Not every application fits a 48x40 footprint. We also offer recycled pallets in non-standard sizes made from reclaimed components. Smaller pallets for partial loads, odd-sized pallets for specialized equipment and custom dimensions cut to your order all come out of our recycling stream.

We pull reusable lumber from pallets that come through our facility. Those boards and stringers get sorted, cleaned up and built into new pallets that meet whatever size you specify. The result is a recycled pallet that fits your exact needs without paying for new lumber.

Combo Pallets (New + Recycled)

Sometimes you need the strength of fresh lumber in certain spots but want to save money everywhere else. That is where combo pallets make sense.

A combo pallet uses new components for the stringers or top boards that take the most stress. The rest of the pallet comes from recycled lumber. You end up with a pallet that handles heavy loads or rough handling where it matters, while still cutting costs and keeping waste down on the rest of the build.

Why Buy Recycled from McVantage?

We only serve North Alabama and the 200-mile radius around Nashville. That proximity gives you two advantages.

First, we pick up used pallets and lumber from local facilities, which feeds our recycling stream. We do not ship material across the country to process it. Second, when you order recycled pallets, we deliver them from nearby instead of trucking them in from a distant recycler. That keeps freight costs low and lead times short.

Tell Us What You Need

Call us with your pallet size, load weight and whether you need all-recycled or a combo of new and recycled. We will quote you a price based on what we have in our recycling stream at that time. Since we serve a limited region, we can turn orders around faster than national pallet recyclers who ship from hundreds of miles away.
